The interior design for the ground floor and the first floor of building D in Sony Center uses color to achieve a multifunctional spacial division within the usable floor space. Strips of light of various lengths continue outwards from the facade, following and defining the space. The flexible lighting control system allows the space to be divided and used in an endless variety of ways and situations. The lighting design supports SonyÕs stated corporate philosophy in which appearance plays an important role.
